Overview

Qithës-rêya Bî was founded durring the early 14th century in winter of the year 1350, by Dhighohz Shêbm. The establishment of Qithës-rêya Bî suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Qithës-rêya Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Qithës-rêya Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Qithës-rêya Bî is buildings are built arround a single broad baked earthen mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Qithës-rêya Bî's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. The town's political statment focused walls are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

Qithës-rêya Bî has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Qithës-rêya Bî ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. The locals seem to have responded to their slow downfall by recreating Qithës-rêya Bî as one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which the town brings to mind.

Cultural Notes

The style used is characterized by their massive, monolithic and 'blocky' appearance with a rigid geometric style. It was best known for its rough, unfinished surfaces, unusual shapes, heavy-looking materials, straight lines, and small windows. Modular elements were often used to form masses representing specific functional zones, grouped into a unified whole.

In Qithës-rêya Bî tiny harmless tornadoes plague the town.

The Ice Elemental, Large near Qithës-rêya Bî are known to be quite timid.

Qithës-rêya Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in spring and involves ritual combat to channel Mysticism energies of tier 1 via recitation of poetic epics.
